About Anissa
Technical proficiency actually matters more than the mental battle of picking up the instrument. I earned my Diploma in Guitar at the Musicians Institute Hollywood after shifting gears from a completely different professional life. Dealing with students who were told they lacked talent is standard for me.
Half of this process involves guitar mechanics and the other half is building the confidence to keep playing. Do you want to see if your own goals are actually reachable?

Progress moves faster when we focus on real music rather than mind-numbing drills. I avoid boring exercises because everything I teach is anchored in actual songs and bands.
Barre chords and blues progressions serve as the foundation for your development. Reading tabs and electric technique come naturally once you are having fun.
Scales and modes find their place within songwriting projects. You get a 10.0 rated experience starting with a free trial session to assess your level. 8 distinct stages define my workflow. Let us get started.
