"Working with teens, hobbyists, grade exam candidates, and working professionals remains the highlight of my career. I must confess that I often find the most satisfaction in helping a student identify exactly where their technique hit a wall.
Over 13 years of active performance and studio work, I have gathered a deep understanding of the instrument. Having taught 429 students, I recognize that everyone learns at a different pace. I possess a MMus Violin Performance from the Queensland Conservatorium, which provides a rigorous foundation for my approach to music theory and fretboard mechanics.
This academic discipline allows me to simplify complex ideas into accessible concepts for any learner. I prefer to keep my teaching style grounded in physical technique rather than abstract theory.
