"You will probably find your first session surprisingly challenging but remarkably clear. We ignore the standard boring drills to jump straight into chord transitions, scales, and modes that actually sound like music.
My RCM background means I explain theory in ways that make sense to younger students who just want to play lead guitar or write their own songs. 13 years of playing and teaching means I can spot bad habits before they ruin your progress. You will receive a monthly recorded review of progress to track your development over time. Everything we do serves your goal of becoming a truly capable and confident musician."

"Teaching guitar requires ignoring the idea that talent is something you are born with. My 13 years of performing with the Hallé Orchestra taught me that discipline beats innate ability every time. I translate those 13 years of teaching experience into a clear path for 465 students who want to play well.
My degree from the Royal College of Music informs how I teach everything from electric technique to complex blues progressions. Teens and hobbyists often find that my approach to music theory and reading sheet music makes the instrument feel much more accessible. I have successfully guided 465 students to find their voice on the fretboard. Success in music is simply a matter of consistent, intelligent practice."
