About Modesta

Spending 10 years gigging in Nashville and Austin means I know the reality of live performance well. I teach tuning and maintenance, rhythm guitar, electric technique, acoustic technique, improvisation and soloing, and strumming patterns to help you succeed. Guitar often feels impossible when it does not make sense.

I still recall that frustration clearly. Helping you enjoy the part of the process you currently dread is my goal.

About the lesson

Results happen once you stop guessing and start seeing the fretboard for what it is. Clarity comes from a diagnostic skills check before building the lesson plan.

You get 9.0 levels of focus on your unique goals. Patterns are the foundation of this instrument and they are entirely teachable.

We will break down the mechanics of your chosen songs until they feel like second nature. You do not need to be a natural to sound great.

Timing is a technical challenge that we will solve together. By the time we finish, you will see the logic behind the music. Grab your pick and let us get to work on those chords.
