About Corey
I fell in love with music after locking myself in my room for a year and playing guitar 18 hours a day (this is not required bordering on inadvisable). After that point there was no going back. I will teach you any music you love but I love British indie records from The Smiths, The Fall, or The Jam. I want to teach guitar because I have a serious passion for it and I want to pass that on to others. I won't teach you how to play the guitar, I'll teach you how to love the guitar.

I'm a very hands on teacher. If you need me to get a big book out and start teaching you guitar from square one I can do that but, I believe the best learning comes when you put your hands on the fretboard and play along to your favourite songs. Because of this I like to teach you songs to play straight away to learn the most important lesson... guitar is really fun. I can teach beginner and intermediate guitar after school hours or during the day on weekends around Central Dunedin. Lessons can be as long as you need them to be to get what you need out of them (1.5 hours is really the longest you will need though).
