About Kevin

Teaching started because I wanted to bridge the gap between studio theory and actual gigging. Honestly, I spend way too much time adjusting pedals and obsessing over amp settings before I ever start playing.

I have spent 13 years performing in 3 bands and releasing 5 records while navigating the Boston music circuit. These real playing situations taught me how to handle stage pressure and genuine tone problems. I have worked with countless students to help them find their own unique sound signature. Sometimes I just sit there and tweak knobs until the sound feels right.

About the lesson

You walk into the studio and the smell of tube amps immediately fills the air as we check your signal chain. We focus on power chords, barre chords, and acoustic technique to build your dexterity from the ground up. Beginners will learn to read sheet music properly while advanced players refine their tone for specific genres. Preparing for grade exams requires precise accuracy that we address through structured practice routines and technical drill work.

Free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class ensure you have a reference for everything covered. Adults and hobbyists get the same focus on hardware setup and practical shortcuts that working musicians use daily. Your playing will sound better the moment you plug into a dialed setup.
