About Karlye
I consider myself, both, a “writing for the workplace” as well as a lifestyle writer. I want myself and my students to feel like they fully understand the work they’ve just read and, if not, we will recapitulate the work into something more meaningful for both of us. If that means we turn Romeo & Juliet into bite sized GenZ orations, then that’s what we will do. I homeschooled my sister (11 years my junior) for many years and had to come up with a slew of tactics to make simple things, like diagramming a sentence, a fun experience. She excelled in this subject and is both a wonderful writer and sentence diagrammer as a high school graduate.

I’m looking forward to exploring your child’s mind through fluency and comprehension, writing and editing, or turning a “boring” piece of literature into an exciting new world. I published my first article when I was 14, authored my first book as a ghostwriter at 22, and continue to use my written word through poetry and music as an adult. Let’s work together to either: help you pass English/Language Arts, expand your knowledge of American (and many other!) Literature, or grow an appreciation for writing that might turn into something vast for the future or just help your understanding of essay writing into your college years.
