About Mark
Hello! My name is Mark, I graduated from Harvard College magna cum laude with a Bachelors degree in neurobiology with a minor in global health and health policy. After graduating, I applied for and was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to conduct research in Australia. I completed my PhD in Psychology at Monash University in Melbourne and started as a medical student at Harvard Medical School in the fall of 2021.

Having both tutored other students and been tutored since I was in high school, I have gained valuable experience on both sides. My biggest takeaway from these experiences has been the importance of personalizing material and tutoring approaches based on the goals of the students. This helps me to gauge the most effective ways that we can work such that students maximally benefit from sessions.
Having written two theses and applied to competitive colleges, postgraduate fellowships, and medical schools, I understand that writing and applying can be overwhelming. I also know that there are steps to make the process as rewarding as possible, and I enjoy finding ways to make this work with each student.
