About Max
Hi! I’m Max, I’m 20 years old! I love dogs and have a few of my own! I have always excelled at English. I have understood the material well and have been reading on my own since I was 5. I have taken an honors English class, and two years of IB English! I know it can be kind of scary asking for help, but when you come to me, it’s nothing to be embarrassed about. I am here to help you understand. I have had a handful of my own tutors (for a different subject!) so I know it’s nerve-wracking, but trust me when I say there is no judgment from me at all!

I believe everyone starts somewhere with English. It was always my subject of choice, but I know and believe it’s not everyone’s. Just because you aren’t good at it now, doesn’t mean you can’t be! I consider myself a patient person, and am good at rewording things if you’re not understanding something. We can take it as slow or as fast as you need. We can go over things as many times as needed. Sometimes, things click, and then un-click, and that’s ok! Our brains are complex beings, we don’t need to rush it! This is about YOU understanding your material!
