I use a variety of phonics strategies to help students who are struggling with reading.
Students will practice letters/sounds that they have not mastered by saying them, reading them, and writing them. We will practice reading nonsense words, and students will learn chants and songs to help them remember the sounds in words.
We will play games to practice sounds and blending and segmenting words. Students will read books to help them practice the skills we have learned.
My lessons are for K-2 students who are struggling readers.
