Super Tutor

Orion is one of our best English tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Orion

I attended Haberdashers' Aske School for Girls, as well as attending Hills Road College. I have just finished A levels and was predicted two As and one A*, as well achieving Level 9 in English Literature and Language, and History GCSE. I am passionate about English Literature, and I will be dedicated to thoroughly engaging every student I work with and teach, rather than simply revising with them. I will keep the sessions interactive, and focus on each student's individual strengths and weaknesses, to build the student up to achieve their intended goals.

About the lesson

I will tailor each lesson to each student and make sure the student can access every resource that is necessary to achieve the grade they are aiming for. I will help the student develop an in-depth understanding of their texts and topics and will develop every skill necessary to achieve highly in exams, which include analytical skills and essay writing skills. I am flexible with the length of a lesson, it can go from 45 minutes to 2 hours. I will teach students from KS1 to A level, and the work my students have provided to teachers has been consistently regarded as impressive.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by students with Orion.

Perfect! Shoshana was a great help for both my English literature year 12 threshold exams and also my actual A level exams. We worked through my English course work where she gave me valuable points on how to increase my marks. She also prepared me for my summer exams at the end of year 13 and I feel that I couldn’t have done as well without her. Lastly she was easily available and was always there whenever I needed help or had questions.

Perfect! Shoshana brings with her a very strong connection with her students. My kids looked forward to her class and always had a good comments about her class. Shoshana next best asset is her patience, she can talk to my kids until they understand the topics. Good to have her as our kids tutor.

I have known Shoshana for over a year . Shoshana was my GCSE English Literature and English Language tutor during this period where she coached me intensely . She provided me with valuable study methods and examination preparation techniques as well as filled up gaps in my knowledge which I found invaluable to pass both my examinations with 2 A* . Her teaching style is open and constructive , challenging and motivating the student to achieve excellent results. She has the ability to quickly build up rapport with the student putting the student at ease and building self confidence. She has excellent communication skills and demands a high standard from her students. She enjoys seeing her students succeed . I have no hesitation in recommending Shoshana for any similar role as I benefited greatly from her teaching .

Shoshana has tutored me in English Literature and English Language throughout my GCSEs and my A-Levels. She has been really helpful, particularly at guiding me through the assessment objectives and teaching me how to manage my time depending on how many marks the question is. I enjoy lessons with Shoshana as she is always approachable, friendly and good at explaining complex ideas by breaking it down into more manageable information.
