About Sam

Teaching students new skills has been a huge part of my life for the last 20 years. Watching students going from beginners to expert in their chosen field is a truly rewarding experience which gives me more motivation to strive forward and help more people succeed. Being part of a student's learning journey is a real privilege in life! I began teaching at the age of 16 and has remained a passion. I teach Swimming, Massage Therapy and English as a foreign language. I love to inject humour into every class and ensure that each student leaves my classes with a huger smile on their faces.

About the lesson

All classes are 60 minutes, unless you have an important exam or test that you need to revise for! I am very flexible in my approach to teaching and I'm able to conduct classes on the subjects and topics that you like, centre a class around a particular grammar aspect or vocabulary or I can take the lead and teach you the best bits about our language to help you communicate effectively in your day-to-day life! I taught English in Spain for many years to a range of age groups from 3 years to 63 years, across a whole range of levels from beginners to expert. I use a mixture of videos, quizzes, conversations, music, historical references and much more as a way to express the language in the easiest way possible.
