About John
Traveling through digital classrooms, I connect with learners across every time zone using my BA in English Literature from Columbia and a CELTA certification. I focus on real sentences and practical conversations to ensure you communicate clearly in any environment. My sessions help students bridge the gap between academic theory and daily life through proofreading, essay writing, literature analysis, and phonics for beginners.
Conversational practice and interview preparation also feature prominently in my methods, alongside grammar support, creative writing, and rigorous exam preparation for IELTS or TOEFL. Don't hesitate to reach out to discuss your learning goals.

Confidence grows through clear communication. My 12 years of experience informs how I approach every session, ensuring that you achieve a 9.0 band score or improve your everyday fluency.
Drawing on my Columbia degree, I structure our time together so that complex grammar rules become simple tools for your writing and speech. We work through specific tasks that mimic real world challenges, whether you are preparing for a high stakes exam or refining your professional correspondence. My patient guidance supports you as we tackle these milestones one by one. We maintain steady progress and clear focus throughout each session.
