About Haley
As a literacy tutor, I believe every child can become a confident reader and writer when instruction is engaging, supportive, and personalized. My approach focuses on building strong foundational literacy skills while also helping students develop confidence and a love for learning. I use evidence-based practices and multisensory strategies to meet students where they are and help them grow at their own pace.

I am a first-grade teacher who specializes in early literacy and helping students become confident readers. My tutoring focuses on phonics, sight words, fluency, comprehension, and writing through engaging, personalized lessons and multisensory activities.
A typical lesson includes a warm-up/review, direct instruction, guided practice, and independent application. I create a positive and encouraging environment that supports each student’s individual learning needs.
My lessons are designed for elementary students (Pre-K–5th grade), especially emerging or struggling readers who need extra support or enrichment in literacy skills.
