BA in English/Education from IUP, MA in English from Carnegie Mellon. Certified in special education from U of Charleston. Taught mostly in Inner city schools. I have also taught of home bound students as well as training students for tests.

I like to make literature come alive with kind of a Socratic method of students being involved and taking ownership of their interpretation. With writing it's a little the same way with me asking questions as to what the writing is trying to accomplish and then rewriting.
