"Playing guitar with confidence starts when you commit to understanding how the fretboard works for your specific hands. Since I hold a BMus degree and have 11 years of experience behind me, I can help you navigate power chords and complex barre chords without the usual frustration.
Because I provide a monthly recorded review of progress, you can listen back to your own development and see how your skills with reading tabs or improvisation and soloing have sharpened over time. Self-taught players often need this kind of external structure to move past their current plateau.
I work with advanced learners who want to refine their technique or rethink their approach to scales. These sessions feel like a collaborative project between two musicians working towards a clearer sound. We keep the pace steady so you can truly digest the theory. Everything is recorded for your later review."

"Playing music became my primary focus during my early conservatoire days. It was a natural transition into teaching others. Having guided 221 students through various hurdles, I prefer a direct approach.
The process remains simple. My BMus from RCM London frames how I think about structure.
I focus on scales and modes or the nuance of lead guitar. You will notice I prioritise ear training above most other technical drills.
It feels right to keep the rhythm steady. Everything rests on building a solid foundation. You get the technical basics first. Then we move on."
