About Kevin
I have 5 years of experience tutoring school children from grades K-12 in math and language arts.
I will now give a summary of how I tutor students for math. I try to go over material that students do not know or need help with, I go over concepts step by step, and then have students try problems on their own so they can practice the concepts they learned. If they do not understand how to do something right away, I then have students go over how they did a problem step by step in order to find where they went wrong. Then I help them with the wrong step and then have the students practice problems on their own again. This is how I approach math tutoring.

My tutoring method involves helping students approach concepts and math problems step-by-step. I also emphasize a trial-and-error approach by having students try problems on their own or with guidance. If they get a step wrong, we identify the problem and have them attempt more problems again, changing their approach from the last time.
