About Hannah

I have tutored a wide range of ages for a number of years now and am currently taking on students for Latin and Ancient Greek tutoring, 11+ ISEB, as well as for university application support. I welcome primary-school age students up to A-Level standard in Latin and Greek. A head start in the classical languages is a great way for your child to stand out on school applications! With regards to university applications, I offer particular focus on Cambridge and Oxford admissions, as this is a lengthier process. Within this, I offer personal statement sessions, interview prep and ‘super-curricular’ guidance. I offer a friendly approach to what can otherwise seem quite academically daunting! My rates are currently £45/hr for A-Level subjects, 11+, and Oxbridge applications; £35/hr for GCSE and below. I am fully DBS checked.

About the lesson

I have a background in linguistics, which means I am able to go into the ins and outs of Latin and Ancient Greek and help students develop a thorough understanding of the language structure. As for philosophy, and Classics topics more generally, we can tailor lessons to suit each student, and their particular areas of interest, or weakness. For interview prep and uni applications we can go through aspects of personal statement, along with mock interviews to clear up some of the mystery surrounding Oxbridge interviews.
