About Christina

Hello! My name is Christina. I am currently in highschool, where I love playing volleyball and professional tennis. I've always had a strong love and passion for the english language arts, I always wanted to read on my own as a toddler. I've had a tutor for math once, and frankly I didnt like him. The lessons were boring and he didnt have a fun personality. I hope to give the word "tutor" a fun and exciting reputation. Im here to help break the stereotyping of learning isnt fun...well im also here to help teach ELA!

About the lesson

When it comes to learning theres one thing you must understand, everyone learns at there own pace. It may be hard to be motivated to learn, so I like to incorporate humor into lessons. Who said learning couldnt be fun?

I teach kindergarten up to fourth grade. I strongly belive that having a younger and patient tutor to help guide you, makes learning less stressful.

My lesson plans vary by grade, but from substituting simple words to stronger vocabulary, similies and metaphors, or even basic pronounciation all my lessons are engaging.
