About Izzy

Hello! My name is Izzy, I'm a third year in high school, and I aspire to be a teacher. I do well working with all kinds of children. I adapt to all of my students and I'm good at engaging them in doing work. I look at all my students as equals and enjoy learning from them just as they will learn English from me. Thank you for considering me as your child's tutor!

About the lesson

I am very confident in my skills and love children. I do well with kids 5-10, and that's also about the level of English I usually teach. I'll teach your child well and treat them with respect. I often curate a study plan for each child for each of their needs. After all, each child is vastly different; how could one study plan ever work for all? A usual lesson with me is calm and laid back, yet challenging. I try to make learning fun, almost like a game! A normal tutoring lesson with me would start with a check-in, then I would help with any English homework that had been collected over the week, completing or going over the assignments. We would learn new skills, and based on their performance, I will assign tutor work that will help them grasp concepts. I often tutor for elementary school students but do well with 6-7th graders as well.
