About Aundrea
People like working with me because I bring a powerful combination of leadership, encouragement, and genuine care to every student I support. Through coaching high-school girls’ basketball, I’ve learned how to teach, motivate, and guide young people in ways that go beyond academics. Coaching requires patience, communication, and the ability to break down skills into simple, understandable steps, qualities that make me effective in both sports and tutoring. This experience gives me strong multi-category teaching skills that help students learn in the way that fits them best.
I’m also someone who is always surrounded by family, and that environment has shaped me into a caring, supportive, and reliable person. Growing up with strong family values taught me how to listen, how to encourage, and how to show up for people consistently. When I work with students, I bring that same warmth and patience, creating a space where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace. My family-centered background helps me build trust quickly and connect with students on a personal level.
Most importantly, I never let anyone quit on themselves. I believe confidence is the foundation of success, and I make it my mission to help every student feel capable and proud of what they can achieve. Whether I’m coaching on the court or tutoring in the classroom, I stay committed to building students up and reminding them of their strengths.

One of the biggest reasons students thrive with me is the environment I create. Children learn best when they feel safe, encouraged, and understood. I bring a calm, positive energy to every session, making sure each child knows that mistakes are part of learning, not something to be afraid of. This approach helps students open up, ask questions, and stay engaged, even when the material feels challenging. My genuine love for working with kids allows me to connect with them on a personal level, making learning feel less like a chore and more like an exciting opportunity.
Academically, I offer structured, clear explanations that break down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps. Whether a student needs help with reading comprehension, math basics, writing skills, or general homework support, I tailor each session to their unique needs and learning style. I pay close attention to how each child processes information so I can adjust my teaching methods to match their pace and personality.
