About Charlotte
English has always been a passion of mine, and I have been drawn to reading, writing, and critical thinking exercises my whole life. I am a native speaker, and my favorite experiences practicing English have been with teachers who created exciting and innovative activities. I don’t want to simply go through the motions with my students; I will ensure that you are improving and prepare you to pass exams, but I will do so in a way that is interesting and relevant to you. Do you like sports, movies, or the arts? Maybe you enjoy music just as much as I do. We will use these interests in your studies to ensure you get the most out of each lesson. Trust me, learning a new language can be loads of fun!

I am a recent graduate of Smith College and TEFL Iberia who always enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of my students (and making their language learning journey fun)! With years of experience in leadership positions as a camp counselor, a nanny, an ELA Tutor, and even a Field Hockey team captain, I am energetic, creative, and organized. In addition to my CRLA certification, I am now Trinity CertTESOL qualified and am proficient in Spanish.
I have tutored ELA since I was sixteen, taught English as a foreign language as a volunteer for two years, and have also observed and taught many classes through Trinity’s TEFL program. I am a hard worker who is incredibly motivated, and I would love to get to know students of all ages.
I work with levels A1 through C2, incorporating a variety of hands-on activities and exercises to push both functional language and overall exam performance. If you are trying to improve your English skills at any point, I guarantee I can help you meet your goals! :)
