Hi! My name is Patrick Tufts, and I would love the opportunity to help you learn English in a way that is fun, personal, and meaningful.

I love all people groups and have huge love and heart for Japan and the Japanese people. はじめましてパトリックです。どうぞやろしくおねがいします。それは日本語で「Nice to meet you, I'm Patrick. I look forward to getting along with you / Please treat me well」!

I believe learning a language is not just about memorizing grammar rules or vocabulary lists — it is about connecting with people, discovering new ideas, and enjoying the journey.

I love Coffee! Do you want to learn how to order coffee in English? I'm the perfect person to teach you!

I was blessed to have amazing teachers who made learning exciting and memorable. They showed me how much of an impact a great teacher can have, and that inspired me to become the kind of teacher who helps students look forward to learning.

My lessons are completely personalized around your interests and goals. We can learn through books, music, conversations, homework help, and even the Bible if that is something you are interested in!

There is an amazing book called Learning English with the Bible! We could use that if you would like! Jesus is everything to me. So, if you are interested in Christianity or learning about the Bible in English, I would love to help you!

Do you love anime? We can use anime to practice English naturally. Do you enjoy music? We can talk about songs, lyrics, and culture while improving your English skills. I would be happy to help you explore that as well.

I also have over 15 years of experience playing guitar and have always loved music, so if you enjoy discussing music, creativity, or songwriting, we can make that part of your English journey too.

Whether you are a beginner, a student, a Japanese learner of English, or someone who simply wants more confidence speaking English, I would love to help you grow.

My goal is simple: to create a learning experience that feels encouraging, enjoyable, and something you genuinely look forward to.
