About Nokubonga
How do you answer why do you want to teach?
I wanted to become a teacher to try and make a difference in young people's lives and to hopefully inspire the same passion and interest in my subject that I have. In such a fast paced world, Modern Studies is a great subject to be able to explore newly occurring issues/topics further.
My excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The strong work ethic and dedication to students. Also my innovative and enthusiastic approach to teaching. Last but certainly not least passion for helping students learn and grow

What is your approach to tutoring?
Mmmh great question
I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. I don't lecture to students or ask them to memorise things. Nor do I do the students' homework for them!
