About Priyanka

Experienced educator with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry in India and abroad. Currently, I am working with students from Hong Kong, Australia, Dubai, and the United States. Skilled in English Grammar, Creative writing skills, Comprehend English, Vocabulary, and competitive grammar. Strong education professional with a Master's in Business Administration, Master's in Commerce focused on Business Administration and Management, General & Commerce from Gautam Buddha University. In our interconnected world, I usually set goals that expand students' cultural competency and global awareness. This might involve learning a new language, participating in exchange programs, or incorporating global literature into the curriculum. As a 21st-century trainer, I embrace technology and have been successfully delivering online classes for the past 4 years. Equipped with state-of-the-art gadgets and accessories, I create a dynamic and interactive learning environment for my students. My classes are designed to motivate and offer practical insights into the indispensable nature of goal-setting for the English subject. It aims to inspire students to embrace the profound impact that well-articulated goals can have on their professional journey, driving them towards innovation, effective leadership, and a legacy of enriched learning experiences. My dedication to student access is further evident through the achievements of my students. Two of my students were selected in the SAT examination and 1 student has cleared the AP exam. I take pride in the fact that our students consistently achieve perfect 98/100 scores in English subjects. Ultimately, my passion for English teaching stems from a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of my students, helping them to become confident, articulate, and well-rounded individuals.

About the lesson

As an English teacher for grade 4 to 12, my approach is centered on clarity, relevance, and confidence-building. I believe language learning should be practical, engaging, and personalized to meet each student's goal—whether academic, professional, or conversational. I focus on making lessons interactive and thought-provoking. I combine traditional teaching methods with real-life applications such as: Discussion-based learning / Critical reading and writing tasks / Multimedia resources / Cultural context and idiomatic usage. I aim to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and making mistakes because that's where real learning happens. Teaching Techniques and Methods 1. Communicative Language Teaching - Emphasizes speaking and listening in real-world contexts. 2. Task-Based learning - Students complete meaningful tasks that require the use of English. 3. Socratic method - I encourage questions and dialogue to deepen understanding. 4. Blended learning - I integrate online tools and digital materials for extended practice. Typical Class Structure 1. Warm-up (5-10 min): Short conversation and language review. 2. Main topic introduction (10-15 min): Presentation of grammar, vocabulary, or concept. 3. Practice Activity (15-20 min): Speaking, writing, or comprehension exercises. 4. Application (10-15 min): Discussion and individual task. 5. Feedback and wrap-up (5-10 min): Corrections, reflections, and homework assignments. These classes are designed for students / adult learners / non-native English speakers.
