About Kiki

I'm 17 years old and a senior in high school. I'm very smart and take a lot of classes, which keeps me busy but also well-rounded. I'm hardworking and determined, always striving to do my best in everything I undertake. I absolutely love kids and am passionate about making learning fun for them!

About the lesson

I'm excited to offer tutoring services for kids in English, focusing on spelling, pronunciation, and memorization techniques. What sets me apart from other tutors is my dedication to seeing everything come together smoothly and the rewarding experience of witnessing the pieces fall into place beautifully for each student. My lessons are tailored for students in 7th grade and under, conducted through one-on-one Zoom meetings that typically last 1-2 hours. Depending on your choice.
Here are four methods I use to teach my students .
1. Phonetic Approach: I break down words into phonetic components to help students understand how to pronounce and spell them correctly. This method makes it easier for kids to grasp the connection between letters and sounds.
2. Visual Aids: I use flashcards a lot. I occasionally incorporate images, and videos to create a visual connection with words. This helps students remember the spelling and pronunciation more effectively.
3. Interactive Games: Learning through play can be incredibly effective. I incorporate spelling games and quizzes that make the learning process fun and engaging.
4. Repetition and Practice: Consistent practice is key to mastering spelling and pronunciation. I provide exercises and practice sessions tailored to each student's needs, ensuring they get ample opportunity to reinforce their learning.
