About Afifa
I am a graduate of Bates college and I obtained my masters degree in life science education at Georgia State University. I currently teach 9th grade Biology at Lakeside High School. I teach both General level, Gifted, and Accelerated students

I have been teaching Biology for 9 years. I have tutored for three. I make sure to communicate with the teacher if that is what is required to help your child succeed.
I look at upcoming lessons and plan ways to review the content or fill in gaps in learning. I always try to end the session with a review of what was learned through quiz format.
