About Lesieli
Kia Ora, My name is Lesieli Ahokava and I love to write, especially poems or spoken word pieces. The reason why I chose this area of writing is because spoken word and poetry all come from your heart and who you are as a person. I love writing pieces that relate to my life but also those around me because maybe there is someone out there who needs to hear my story and they can relate to what I write and share. I love speaking my thoughts on paper, which is a way of healing and a way of expressing your feelings and emotions because it is not easy sharing it out loud to loved ones, but I say paper and a pen is your best friend!

How I teach my classes is I teach from the heart. Whatever my students or classes need, for example, whatever they want to learn or their desires to learn, I will never say no because if that is something they want to accomplish or love, I will help them be great at it. I will give them examples and experiences from my life to share with them to help them understand they are not alone. Whatever they are going through, people out there, especially me, can help them, can be a shoulder to lean on, especially when it comes to writing, poetry. I'll be a witness for them that writing and poetry are the words poured from your heart to create an amazing written piece.
