About Cleo
I am a nineteen year old gap year student. I grew up on a sailboat and have circumnavigated the world. I was homeschooled for all of high school, and recently got accepted to Pomona College. My unique childhood has given me many special experiences that I am eager to share. I love kids and teaching, in my gap year I have volunteered in foreign countries to teach kids english. I struggled in school at a young age and I want to make kids like me feel more accepted and confident in their places of learning, wherever that may be.

From personal experience I know that getting tutored can be daunting for young kids, and I want to make them feel comfortable and confident at school. I can tailor my lessons to whatever the child’s needs are, and create personalized lessons. I believed learning should be fun, and I want to facilitate a good relationship with the subject of choice.
