Methodology
My teaching methods are very much individualized. I know from experience that students can respond differently to tutoring based on the circumstances they best respond. Different approaches can impact a student’s performance. Some people respond best to visual aids, while others prefer a written text explanation. At the beginning of the tutoring session, we will make sure to communicate which methods work best for your needs.
Background
I am a high school junior located in Illinois. For three years, I have tutored a variety of students (from first graders to high schoolers) on a variety of subjects. I have helped children who have not had many opportunities or outside resources available to them. As well, I have tutored students in my school environment with a goal to further their studies. Tutoring is very important to me, and I make sure it is an active part of my life. I would love to tutor anybody who is passionate enough to advocate for their own learning.
