About Kim Juan

I have been a very motivated and passionate private tutor for at least the last 20 years till currently. During my span of this career, I have been exposed to teaching students from all kinds of schools, namely International Schools, Private Schools, Chinese Independent Schools, Home Schools, Local Schools, etc. Therefore I am well acquainted with different syllabuses from different schools. I especially enjoy teaching IGCSE English although I have taught IELTS and TOEFL to some students who required it in the past. It is my opinion from my experience of teaching English, that cultivating good English language skills will enable the students to climb the career ladder when they embark on their career. I have had many students who have achieved remarkable results for the IGCSE English and etc. I noticed that students who are avid readers are usually exceptionally good in their writing skills. Hence, very often I would encourage my students to read in order for them to reach their potential in producing magnificent work, especially in their writing which is a very invaluable skill to possess. In this end too, I bring upon myself to always be proactive in my work whereby I very often would introduce students to high-quality material, even if they are students who are just doing English as a second language. And as for my students who are doing English as a first language, I always demand high quality of work which I have no doubts they are capable of producing if they do the work and attend my class. I derive so much joy in seeing my students progress and succeed and I cherish my time spent with them as each student is such a dear precious one who has the potential to impact the world and be a world changer. Therefore, I always make sure that not only am I a good teacher but the one who can bring about positive influence in the lives of the students too.

About the lesson

I conduct English classes for students ranging from 7 to 18 years old. Mainly specialised in IGCSE. Very experienced in teaching students from local and international schools. Have a teaching career span of more than 20 years. I usually manage to steer my students to perform with excellence, garnering outstanding results. Able to cater to students at all levels as my experience in teaching has been extensive.
