About Alexandros

I am currently a Research Methods tutor for Master's students at the University of Edinburgh. Privately, I have more than 500 hours helping undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD and DClinPsy students gain confidence and ace their assignments in: 1. Hi there, welcome to my profile. My name is Alexandros, I am from Cyprus, and I am currently a PhD Student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Edinburgh, and I hold a Master's degree in Psychology from University College London. I am keen to help share all the knowledge I have gained during my education with other students who may need support. Teaching for me means to facilitate the student's learning. I first ask questions to understand the knowledge of the student, and then help the student expand that knowledge by asking the right questions and sharing my knowledge. Alexandros has served as a tutor on my course, Psychological Research Methods, since September 2024. On this course, students learn the theory behind a range of statistical tests, as well as how to use them in practice. Students find the content relatively challenging, but Alexandros is an excellent tutor who does well to make things clear and accessible to students across a wide range of educational backgrounds.
