About Brock
I am a poet and linguist, and I have an amicable personality. I am an avid reader and as such have spent a lot of time in dictionaries looking up meanings and etymologies. Currently I am a student of Japanese and Mandarin chinese. I have published poetic works in various literary magazines and also done some self-publishing of my own poetry books.

I will strive to tailor my lessons to suit your personal needs and learning style. We're all different and tend to go at our own pace, and I always want to respect that because I believe if learners get pushed into a rubric that doesn't fit their mind and personality, then it will make learning seem like a chore, or worse, boring.
Learning should be fun and bring us closer to ourselves and our communities, be they global or local communities at that. I want to bring my best to the table, and I'm excited to share what I have to give.
