About Sonia
I possess a Bachelor of Arts degree with English as the Honours subject, along with two Master's degrees in Linguistics and English, and a Bachelor of Education teaching license from Calcutta University. I am also equipped with a diploma in Computer Education and Spoken English, showcasing proficiency in technology and oral communication skills. Recently achieved a UK (Ofqual) regulated and US (DEAC) approved TEFL qualification from i-to-i, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and a desire to improve teaching skills.

I prefer to use the Communicative Language Teaching method for teaching English. I believe in student-centered learning approaches. I aim at monitoring the students closely and provide frequent positive reinforcement and feedback. I demonstrate a passion for teaching and a dedication to create an engaging and effective learning environment for students. I possess strong communication skills and adaptability which helps me to continuously evaluate what's working for my students. My classes are mainly intended for school children and adults.
