About Kenna
Hi, I'm Kenna! I am an English and creative writing major with a passion for learning and sharing my knowledge and love of the arts. I have over a decade of tutoring and coaching experience with students of all ages, and enjoy inspiring and encouraging others to explore and grow. Graduating with distinction, I know how to work hard to achieve goals, but I also strive to create a fun learning environment where students are allowed to be themselves and have a good time. My lesson plans are catered to each individual, based on their strengths, challenges and needs. An oral reading and hands-on writing assessment is the best place to start, and a great way to get to know students. Taking a personal approach and keeping things fun and light are the keys to success (nobody learns well under stress). I like to keep sessions engaging and accessible, and do my best to incorporate each student's interests into lessons. I have experience working with children as young as three years of age, all the way up to adults looking to upgrade or expand their education.
