About Nevaeh
I am turning 16 years old, so relating and connecting with the learners is never an issue! I'm a very calming and reassuring person. If the learner is having a struggle with something, that's no problem! I will do my best to make them feel as comfortable and confident as possible. I currently have a GPA of 3.6, and I am going to use my engineering scholarship and attend FDU Collage when I graduate highschool. I specialize in creative writing and have won different certificates and awards for my pieces.

When tutoring English, I like to make the lesson fun and more appealing for little kids. Its easier to remember the material that way. I give visual lessons and get to know the child so I can understand what they like to write about. When tutoring Math, I really like to break the lesson down piece by piece and try to make connections to things that also interest the child. I like using kid friendly websites such as DeltaMath and BrainScape. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I make the lesson interesting enough to where the child wants to learn more and more. My lessons are for the younger audience. I mainly work with ages 7-12. However, I can most definitely work around that. I have experience working with special needs children and I would love to get some more!
