About Elise
I am a PhD candidate with the University of Bristol. I work in archival research, focusing on feminist recovery and visual history. I have been a tutor since 2020 on different platforms, and teachat the university as well. I love tutoring as I find it really rewarding seeing how students gain confidence in their subjects, and in some cases fall in love with subjects that they had been avoiding in the past.

I am student led in my approach, using more conversation based communication in order to increase the students understanding and confidence around the subject. We work together to answer questions and build essays. When working toward exams, I will use past papers as a structure in order to familiarise the student with the format, so that they can walk into the exam feeling prepared.
