About Paulina

I am currently entering my final year at Oxford University reading for History and Politics (BA) after having achieved a first class in my first year exams and A*AAA at A-Level. As I received high grades in History and English Literature both at A-Level and GCSE - 7A* and 3As, or 7 8s and 3 7s in the new format - I feel particularly confident in tutoring these two subjects and have long had a passion for them! In addition to this deep appreciation, I have always been commended for my study methods and essay technique which I am sure will be helpful in learning at any level. Outside of my degree, I continue to read a lot and help my sister in her own studies, so I have continued to have contact with the school curriculum since the reforms took place. University : - University of Oxford - History and Politics [Currently Studying] School : Tollbar MAT Sixth Form A Levels - History [A*] - English Literature [A] - Maths [A] - Chemistry [A] Oasis Academy Immingham GCSEs - English Literature [A*] - English Language [A*] - Maths [A*] - Biology [A*] - Chemistry [A*] - Physics [A] - History [A*] - French [A] - Psychology [A] - Art [A*] Prizes and Scholarships : Ford Exhibition Award (2020) in recognition of the high standard of work throughout the academic year, performance in collections and a First class in first-year preliminary University examination.

Paulina studied 20th Century European History with me. I was struck by her enthusiasm for history, her ability for independent study, and her willingness to engage critically with the secondary literature. Paulina is a talented writer and I thoroughly enjoyed our discussions.
