About Janelle
This is my first time tutoring in a professional environment, but I have always been a great helper whether it was for peers, my younger siblings, and even my parents at times. I come from a family of teachers and always denied wanting to be a teacher, but it's weird I think it's in my blood. I'm in numerous leadership programs and clubs at my school and the Varsity volleyball captain since freshman year, as well as a captain for my very competitive club volleyball team. This has put me in situations where I had to be a leader and help and explain things to teammates and coach them up myself, and this applies to academics too.

I have a passion for teaching and have learned from numerous award-winning teachers. My style is teaching through examples and symbols this ensures that all students can learn the subject and relate it to their life to memorize better! I love to have conversations rather than lectures so the student is engaged. Also saying things out loud to finish my sentences, or repeating what I said ensures better memorization. I am just a high schooler but I have a positive outlook on life and have worked with kids in multiple settings. I have a passion for teaching and can't wait to be a teacher when I am older, choosing me will help you learn from someone who knows the new and fresh curriculum and the best tips and tricks to be an honors student!
