I’m a mature student, currently studying BA (Hons.) in English Lit & Creative Writing. I have written several novels, short stories, and works of poetry. I have a love of music also, and played in bands for years.

I prefer to inspire interest in the student by helping them identify why they should care about a text or assignment, which makes studying more enjoyable and facilitates a deeper connection with the work. Painting a bigger picture about how reading and written assignments can help them interact more effectively with the world around them is key. I feel this is the single most important factor lacking in traditional education.
