About Alisha
Before becoming a teacher, I worked in the mental health and social care sector, supporting individuals with complex needs. This experience strengthened my empathy, emotional intelligence, and ability to understand different learning needs. I now use these skills to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel safe to grow and express themselves. Outside the classroom, I value personal growth and enjoy Muay Thai, fitness, reading, journaling, and learning languages—interests that keep me motivated and inspire my teaching style.

With a BA (Hons) in Social Studies, I understand human behaviour, motivation, and learning differences, which helps me create a safe and encouraging space where every student can grow. My Level 5 TESOL certification has given me strong training in communicative, confidence-building teaching methods. Each 55-minute lesson focuses on speaking, practical vocabulary, and clear pronunciation, and I work with children, teenagers, and adults of all levels. I am committed to helping each learner achieve their goals and enjoy the process of learning English.
