"A crisp acoustic chord ringing in a quiet room is the first sound I hear when I think of my musical practice. Holding a Master of Music from the Royal Northern College of Music gave me the formal structure I now share with intermediate learners and young students. My own journey involved years of rigorous study before moving into the teaching space I occupy today.
I focus on electric technique and music theory to demystify the instrument for those who have spent too long playing alone. You can expect a clear explanation of how blues progressions fit into your wider playing style. Improvisation and soloing become approachable once we break the patterns down into manageable parts.
I enjoy working with kids who are just beginning their path. It is work I love. My lessons are designed to be precise yet accessible for self-taught players wanting structure. You will learn to use your hands with intention rather than guesswork."
