About Ice
About Me & Experience Hello! My name is Ice. I grew up in a multicultural environment, living in a UK boarding school from a young age, and this experience shaped my understanding of different cultures and communication styles. I have been teaching English for over 10 years, working with a wide range of learners. From adult students in London coming from all over the world and studying at every level, to young Thai students just beginning their English journey, especially those practising their pronunciation and building confidence, I've had the pleasure of working with such diverse groups of students.

My Lesson Style I believe learning English should be enjoyable, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. My lessons are relaxed but structured to help you progress quickly. I often use fun and relatable media, such as short cartoons or clips from shows like Mr. Bean, to spark conversation, encourage creativity, and make lessons memorable. Learning Objectives Whether you are preparing for exams or simply improving your everyday English, I can help. I specialise in: Exam preparation: IELTS, TOEFL, and Cambridge exams (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE) – qualifications I experienced myself from a young age, and later enhanced by achieving my CELTA in 2011. Business English and job interview practice, helping you communicate effectively in professional settings. General English: pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and fluency. Beyond the Lesson To help you stay motivated, I often set light but meaningful homework or side tasks. This could be a small research project, a fun writing activity, or a real-life English task such as speaking to someone in English or completing an activity online.
