About Meenu

I am a Master's degree holder in English literature from Punjab University, Chandigarh with specialization in Linguistics and Phonetics. I have done a 120-hour TESOL certification with World TESOL ACADEMY accredited by ACCREDITAT and CPD of the United Kingdom. A certified fashion expert from NIIFT. I can speak Hindi and Punjabi as well. I sometimes use these, if required, to elaborate or make my point clear.

About the lesson

I am an IELTS and spoken English coach. I have been teaching since 2003. My first student was a senior engineer of a government department. I helped improve his grammar and vocabulary and hone his pronunciation. After assessing his level, we decided to prepare from an examination-point-of-view. He was able to score the required bands in the IELTS examination on the first attempt itself. I usually start by assessing a student's level and then preparing the class curriculum according to his individual needs. I do not go by any prescribed syllabus because language teaching has to be customized for each and every student.
