About Shafia

I am a highly qualified educator with a B.Arch and M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and 3–5 years of university level teaching experience. As a woman in STEM and Architecture, I bring deep scientific knowledge, creativity and warmth to every class — inspiring young learners to explore, discover and fall in love with Science.

About the lesson

“Science is not just a subject — it is a way of thinking. And who better to teach that than an IIT Kharagpur M.Tech graduate!”

As a postgraduate from IIT Kharagpur — India’s most elite technical institution — I bring genuine scientific expertise to primary grade teaching. My technical and architectural background gives me a unique ability to connect Science concepts to the real world — making learning deeply meaningful and unforgettable for young children.

WHAT MAKES MY SCIENCE CLASS UNIQUE:

Real World Science — I connect every concept to things children see and experience daily — making Science feel alive and relevant

IIT Trained Scientific Thinking — I teach children to observe, question and discover — just like real scientists do

Concept Based not Textbook Based — Children understand Science deeply, not just memorize facts

Zero Fear Environment — Science should be exciting not scary! I make every topic an adventure
