About Elizabeth
After 23 years of teaching, I went back to school to pursue my Master's degree. The experience was humbling and inspiring at the same time. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner. I tell my students often that I am here so we can figure it out together. My favorite strategy is modeling for a student how I figured something out. This is important so the student can see it’s not magic or something that only English teachers can do! I am committed to creating an environment where learning happens.

My 26 years in the classroom taught me not only how to tailor lessons to the individual student, but also how to support them with the acquisition of the skills they need in today’s world. I have experienced major success helping students write literary analysis essays. With my help, your work will display critical thinking. Your writing will reflect a critical, analytical understanding of the text and will draw sophisticated, insightful inferences from concrete details to support your thesis. in addition, students who have worked with me on their college essay have gotten into USC, UCLA, Stanford, Berkeley, Duke, UGA, Northwestern and Georgetown to name a few.
