About Emily
I am a committed Guitar tutor with 16 years of teaching experience. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to learn guitar for passion, performance, or personal growth. My journey as a teacher has been filled with dedication and continuous learning.
My teaching philosophy is to build strong basics and guide students with patience. I believe every student can become confident with the right training and regular practice. I focus on chords, strumming patterns, scales, rhythm accuracy, and basic music theory. I ensure that students understand each lesson clearly before moving ahead.
Many of my students have successfully performed in school and college events. Some have joined music groups and developed advanced skills. Watching their confidence grow on stage is one of my proudest achievements.
I maintain a positive and motivating learning environment. My goal is to help students enjoy the learning process while developing discipline and creativity through guitar.

My approach to teaching Guitar focuses on steady skill development and creative confidence. I strongly believe that every student learns at a different pace, so I adjust my teaching style accordingly. My methodology is guided by Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I start by strengthening finger control, chord transitions, and rhythm accuracy.
Once students gain comfort, I introduce scale practice, barre chords, and lead techniques. Motivation keeps students determined, especially during challenging lessons. I encourage patience and regular practice habits. Communication ensures that each lesson is explained clearly and demonstrated practically.
I answer questions in simple language to avoid confusion. Integrity guides me to maintain discipline and proper playing techniques without shortcuts. Creativity plays a major role in helping students explore music through improvisation, chord experimentation, and genre exploration. Along with Guitar, I teach music theory basics, ear training exercises, and stage confidence skills to create well-rounded musicians.
