Learning is a lifelong quest. I have been working on a large book related to the sport of boxing, race and history of Detroit.

Teaching and learning is a collaborative experience. It is about attempting to answer questions. Why is A. Phillip Randolph ignored as a Civil Rights advocate? Why did President Roosevelt resist Civil Rights? What makes a writer of fiction great? How does Anton Chekhov use simple language to express the profound?

Over many years teaching grammar and the composing of responses to essays and short stories, I have developed a method to eliminate the five major errors (including comma splices) and to adopt an effective way of articulating responses to essays and short stories. The latter can be demonstrated visually so that the student is able to see and thus to apprehend the essence to both.
