About Nicole

Who knew learning not to perform could be so rewarding? Hi, I’m Nicole! In my 20’s, I found myself in a hole from years of overperforming, managing PMDD, and feeling unsure of what really mattered to me. Seeing the significant changes mindfulness meditation brought about in my mind and behaviour, the curious scientist in me started studying it. My personal journey has taken me across 30+ countries and out of my previous career, learning how awareness and letting go can create real freedom in work and life. In 2023, I trained with Zen Master Daizan Skinner to teach the accredited course he developed over 20 years, recognised by the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA). Who I help: - I’ve supported people who say “I know there’s more-to-life”. They’ve quit their job, left a relationship, moved country, or made some other big change for themselves. Like me, mindfulness helps them stop chasing, throw out expectations, reconnect, and rebuild to move forward. - High-achievers with performance-driven backgrounds who realised they box themselves in with their patterns. Mindfulness is the pathway to higher impact through sustainable work and human skills. - Individuals managing stress, anxiety or emotional strain – something most of us face at some point under life’s pressures. Mindfulness provides resilience and awareness to heal, reset habits, and sustain wellbeing. - I’ve also worked with groups with specific needs, such as women living with PMDD and domestic abuse survivors.

Zen Buddhism provides us with day-to-day, simple exercises that fit into life – so we haven’t got to pretend to be spiritual or “woo” to gain the benefits of meditation. Mindfulness is simply training in being present. Non-judgemental awareness develops many qualities that help us embrace our humanity and change how we show up in life. Observing, being real, and letting go, you can build strong relationship with yourself. With time, it becomes a way of life: a means to feeling full, getting the best out of yourself and moving boldly through change. Mindfulness for health, wellbeing & life course - how It works: You can choose between a one-to-one or a small group course. Both follow an 8-week framework, with weekly sessions to: - Progress through four core types of meditation - Explore mindfulness in key life areas: stress, emotion, beliefs, priorities, balance, performance and decision making - Build sustainable habits that help you maintain calm, clarity, and confidence beyond the course If you’re new to mindfulness and unsure, you can begin with my free 5-part audio series exploring some of the qualities we develop in this course.
