I highly highly highly recommend Chris's English classes as his student and friend. His classes are always full of energy and creativity. Beyond teaching language, history and culture are also included, making learning both engaging and enriching. He truly cares about his students' growth, and his passion for teaching is evident in every class.
Mr. Chris has really made a big difference in my life and in the lives of a lot of other students. He doesn’t just teach us stuff—he inspires us to do our best. He has this amazing way of helping us believe in ourselves and push towards our goals. What really stands out about him is how he can adapt when things get hard. He’s not just a great teacher; he really cares about each one of us.
As a student in China and as a family member in China. I strongly and sincerely recommend him to be an English tutor. First of all, his class style is humorous and friendly, and he will break down complicated problems very simple and easy to understand. Many students in China do not understand English and may not be interested in the English language. However, under his vivid speech, many people have different views on English, their understanding of English has become stronger, and they have become interested in English. Students are falling in love with his class more and more, because his class is full of happiness, humor, and passion. I can also learn a lot of English knowledge.
Secondly, he is a very humble and responsible English instructor, because he always puts whether students have learned knowledge in his class or feel the meaning of his class in the first place. After class, he is very concerned about students' learning attitude and situation. If there is any problem in English learning, he will actively help students to solve the problem, help students to plan learning goals, teach students how to learn efficiently, review after class, and assign meaningful homework.
Finally, he must be a hard-working, confident and knowledgeable English tutor. With rich teaching experience, he can deeply touch the psychology of students and understand students from the perspective of students. And had a great life experience. I firmly believe that he can use his spirit and attitude to influence the students around him, to educate his students. I highly recommend him to be an excellent English tutor.I met Mr. Gibbs while pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in China. He has been both a teacher and a friend to me. Mr. Gibbs is passionate, humorous, and incredibly talented—qualities that make him an outstanding teacher. He has a unique ability to blend joy with knowledge, making his lectures both informative and engaging. One of his key strengths is his ability to capture and hold the attention of his audience effortlessly. I can confidently say that regardless of your current English proficiency, Mr. Gibbs will quickly find a way to help you improve.
He has abundant teaching skills and experiences in Chinese university for four years. He is the best teacher in the foreign language school. He also has full of variety of teaching methods for different levels of students.
I've known Chris for four years. Initially, I was his English student, but over time, we became close friends. In the vast sea of online education, finding the right teacher can be daunting, especially when you have to rely on others' experiences to judge a teacher's quality. So, let me share with you why Chris stands out.
First and foremost, Chris is incredibly curious and adventurous. He has an insatiable curiosity for new things, which means he’s always ready to engage you in lively debates about cultural phenomena from your country. These discussions not only deepen your understanding of various topics but also naturally improve your English skills. With Chris, you’ll never find yourself at a loss for words in class; in fact, you’ll often wish the class could go on longer.
Secondly, Chris is highly qualified. He holds a graduate degree in English education and has a deep passion for teaching. Despite being a father of three, he still maintains a remarkable enthusiasm for his work. Doesn’t that make you want to take a trial lesson with him?
Lastly, Chris is a teacher with genuine sincerity. He lived in China for four years and through his actions, he changed some Chinese students’ negative views of Americans. He blended in seamlessly with the local teachers and students, and even after returning to the U.S., he stayed in touch with them. His sincerity is what makes him a bridge for cultural exchange between China and the U.S.
So, if you’re still hesitating about which teacher to choose, let me tell you—Chris is a decision you won’t regret.Mr. Gibbs is definitely an excellent English teacher. He has been teaching English for almost 20 years and is currently an English teacher in Arkansas. I’m a Chinese student he taught while he was in Xi’an. I benefited a lot from his teaching and I’m now an attorney working for an international law firm. If you want to master the language, you should definitely choose Mr. Gibbs! I guarantee you would thank me for this recommendation.
